Please read 🙏 “Sometimes I danced with an empty stomach, but I still danced like I was full of joy. That’s how I survived.” — Endurance Grand

My name is Endurance Dzigbordi Dedzo. I came from a PØØR background. Life was not easy for me and my family. Many times, I went to school but got sent back home because there was no money to pay my fees. It hurt. I really wanted to learn. I wanted to grow. But we didn’t have enough. It was pa!nful.

We lived simple. Some days, we had very little food. But even with an empty stomach, I danced. I stood in front of our tiny mirror and danced with all my heart. I used my hands and legs like I was on a big stage. That was my escape.

People laughed at me. They told me dance wouldn’t take me anywhere. But I refused to believe that. I felt something strong in me. I knew I had a gift. I just needed one small chance.

Joining DWP Academy changed everything. It wasn’t easy. I was one of the few girls. I had to fight to be seen. But I showed up every day. I trained hard. I gave my heart to every move. Today, I look back and smile.

I don’t dance just for me. I dance for every girl who feels unseen. If I can do it, you can too. Don’t give up on your dream.
